Modern fashion industries cause stress on our planet’s ecosystems, and are often the cause of poor and inhumane working conditions in our world.

Harking back to an era where music and fashion collided as signifiers of belief systems, shared consciousness and community politics.

CULT OF VENUS is working against the tide of consumer merch production, with the belief that we can create a new ecosystem that is sustainable, and supports community participation in both its creation and ethos.

In 2025 CULT OF VENUS created a merch line from hand sourced, upcycled vintage t-shirts, and crew neck sweatshirts.

The idea was to utilize quality fabrics and construction that already exist. By taking the best worn in, well washed cotton garments and adding embroidery or screen printing, each piece is entirely unique. These designs have sold out multiple times at live shows and venues across the US and EUROPE.

For the first time, these upcycled CULT OF VENUS designs will be offered online.

This line of merchandise is created to be the antithesis of fast fashion and waste. Even the packaging you receive is 100% sustainably sourced, made with organic material, and is compostable.

As an artist and performer, CULT OF VENUS has been focused on how music provides a connection between us.

CULT OF VENUS has performed at protests, in schools, hospitals, women’s housing shelters, and as an artist in residence at Rikers Island Women’s Jail, with the mission that music should be offered in community spaces to provide healing and connection.

Along with keeping production small, and the products 100% sustainable, a portion of all CULT OF VENUS merch sales are donated. By participating in the MERCH MISSION, a portion of your garments creation and sale will support community initiatives. The choice of organization is made based on CULT OF VENUS’s own history with activism, advocacy, and community organizing.
